Adding dependency among services in XP

We can add dependency among sevices by editing registry database. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServices is the place where information about all the services is stored. This node will have a subnode for each of the services installed on the machine. Click on the subnode for which you want to add dependency for. Edit the parameter ‘DependonService’ under it to add the list of services on which this service is dependent.
